Q: Are your storage facilities open every day of the year?

A: Our facilities are closed on most major holidays. Please call before a visit to check.

Q: Is it possible to place a hold on any storage unit?

A: Our selection is first come first serve, as we constantly receive inquiries.

Q: Does Ayres Self Storage provide locks or storage boxes? Do you keep a key to my storage unit?

A: You can bring your own lock or purchase a new sealed lock or storage boxes at our front desk. No one else will have a key.

Q: Do you rent spaces month-to-month or do I have to sign a lease?

A: Our rental contracts are month-to-month agreements – no long-term lease is required.

Q: Do I need to give you notice when I move out?

A: You do not have to give advance notice. But you do need to sign a Termination Agreement at the time of moving out.

Q: Do you require insurance on my stored goods?

A: It isn’t required on our end, but you are responsible for the things you are storing at Ayres Self-Storage. You may be covered under an insurance policy you already have. Check with your insurance agent.

Q: What kind of documentation do I need to provide to rent a storage unit?

A: You will need to provide a valid, government-issued picture identification (e.g., driver’s license or passport).

Q: What are the accepted types of payment?

A: Cash, Check, Money Order, Visa or Mastercard in person. Autopay is an option.

Q: Can I store my boat or RV?

A: Yes, we offer this service.

Q: Do you offer your storage units for sale or storage auctions?

A: While TV shows like “Storage Wars” and “Storage Hunters” are great, we do not currently offer this service.
